A commendable fit for short visits in St Gallen with value for money. The hotel was recently renovated, very clean, and comfortable. Be prepared for some noise if your room faces the main street.

I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the personal touch from the owner, Christian. He offered helpful suggestions about local attractions and made me feel right at home. My room was a cozy standard double with a spacious balcony overlooking the property. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the bathroom felt modern and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, featuring delicious local products. However, the noise from Jacobstrasse could be a bit disruptive at times. Also, the lack of window shades meant early morning light woke me sooner than I would have liked. Overall, I appreciated the unique charm of this family-owned hotel, but a few adjustments could enhance the experience even further.

A cozy family-owned gem
From the moment I arrived, Christian warmly welcomed me and took my bags to the room. The breakfast was delightful—fresh and local—perfect to start my day exploring St Gallen.
However, I found the noise from Jacobstrasse a bit disruptive in the early hours. While it didn’t ruin my stay, it did affect my sleep quality.

Exceptional customer service and engaging local hosts.
Despite the warm hospitality, my room faced significant noise from Jacobstrasse which disrupted my sleep. The absence of air conditioning was especially uncomfortable during the warmer nights. Additionally, the lack of a proper bed arrangement, with two single beds not held together, made for a less than desirable sleeping experience.

Proximity to public transport hubs, spacious rooms, engaging local hosts
The absence of air conditioning is a real downside during hotter weather!!! Plus, the limited options for in-room entertainment could really use some improvement!!! Lastly, the traffic noise at night can be quite disruptive!!!

Warm and welcoming hospitality
I had a lovely stay where the owners, Christian and his wife, made me feel right at home. Their assistance with local tips and even an early check-in was incredible. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast selection was delightful with an array of fresh options. I wish there were more shades for the windows, as the morning light came in quite early.

The warm hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable, highlighted by a delicious breakfast with local flavors, including a standout guava jam. The room was tidy and had a comfortable bed, but the absence of air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable during warmer nights. The noise from the main street was disruptive at times, impacting sleep quality, and the limited entertainment options could use some enhancement.
